Student Assistance Program (SAP)

Is your child experiencing difficulties in school and/or home? Are you concerned about strained relationships at school and/or home? Has academic performance slipped?

Here’s HOW you can get help for your child…

*The SAP Process: Referral -- Planning – Intervention – Support

Referral:  Call us at 610-948-6490 to get started.  Anyone, including the student, may refer a student to SAP when behavioral concerns exist. Permission to proceed with the SAP process is obtained from the parent.

Team/Family Planning Meeting:: Objective academic performance information is gathered from school personnel who have contact with the student. The SAP team meets with the parent and student for further input and to discuss the information collected. A plan for in-school and/or community-based services and activities is developed.

Intervention Recommendations:   An individualized plan is put into action. The SAP team liaison assists in linking the student to in-school and/or community-based services and activities.

Support: The SAP team continues supporting the student and family by monitoring, mentoring, and motivating for academic success.
