Every year, one in four adults−approximately 61.5 million Americans−experiences mental illness.  While almost 20 percent of adolescents (13-18 year olds) deal with severe mental disorders in a given year.

·        fight the stigma that surrounds mental illness;

·        provide support to those suffering from mental illness;

·        educate the public that mental illness is treatable; and

·        advocate for equal care for those battling mental illness.
